A walking tour giving you an insight into sensual and bohemian Barcelona as you explore the areas that once embodied its risqué and seedier side, from the early 20th century to the present day. From the glamorous Paral·lel, through the once-seamy Raval district to the bustling Rambla.

  • At VIA Barcelona we want to show you what’s left of the sinful harbour city, from its most famous cabarets to its dingiest dives, while we recall some of the erotic legends of the past hundred years and the most irreverent stories of Barcelona’s underbelly.
  • During the tour you’ll hear some racy anecdotes as you walk along the glamorous Paral·lel, through the once-seamy Raval district and along the bustling Rambla.
  • You’ll be able to see what’s left of the sinful harbour city, from its most famous cabarets to its dingiest dives, while we recall some of the erotic legends of the past hundred years and the most irreverent stories of Barcelona’s underbelly.
  • Route: Paral·lel, Nou de la Rambla, streets of the Raval, La Rambla, Plaça Reial.
  • Radio guide system to aid communication between the participants and the guide.
  • Languages: English.
  • Calendar and times: 1st June to 31st December) Tuesday and Thursday at 6pm.
  • Length of tour: 2 hours approx.
  • Groups of up to 20 people only.
  • Not suitable for under 14s.
  • Meeting point: El Molino. 99, Vilà i Vilà (corner Av. Paral·lel). Metro: L2 and L3, stop Paral·lel. Bus: 20, 21, 24, 36, 57, 64, 91 and D20.
